I heard about Mitch Albom on 90.7 FM on Thursday. He was interviewed by Don Marsh at 11:00 AM. I had heard of his books before but never read one. I found the comments about his most current work ( have a little faith...) intriguing. As I am out of work and was born and raised in Detroit ( And still have family there). And I am somewhat like Mitch. Raised with strong religious upbringing, but abandoned formal practice in my 20's....( like I expect a lot of my generation….)

So I picked it up at the Library Friday. I couldn't put it down. His words struck strong cords within me. I found the comments moving and true to life. The overall message about needing connections rang true.

If you haven't read it. Take a try. I think there are several passages that would be of help to our members at Go!Network for support.

I look forward to meeting you at the Go!Network function on 12/8.
